Biography


Molly studied psychology, literature and theatre at McGill University in Montreal. As an actor, she trained at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, the Academy of Film and Television in Honolulu and Michael Howard Studios Summer Conservatory in New York while her training started at 4 years old with Judy Berlin's Kids on Camera in San Francisco. Recent credits include leading roles - such as Evita, Maria in "The Sound of Music" and Shelby from "Steel Magnolias" - in Kyoto, Montreal, New York, and Hawaii - where she aired as "Rosie" on ABC's “Lost.” Molly writes screenplays and has written award-winning staged productions,
most recently two interactive children's plays at The Centaur Theatre in Montreal and a short film which won "Best Film" and "Most Creative" at the Montreal Fringe Film Festival. She teaches children's theatre and directs plays and musical productions internationally. Using theatre and music, she taught academics and mainstream social skills-building with Autistic children in Hawaii's public schools. She has also used theatre and music as experimentation grounds for teenagers in Mongolia, has accompanied dramatherapist, Dr. Sue Jennings in working with Roma communities of Romania and has collaborated with "Theatre of the Oppressed" founder, Augusto Boal at NYU. As a young adult, Molly toured in Germany, Austria, the British Isles and Hawaii with the San Francisco-based Villa Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra and Oakley Violin Chamber Orchestra. More recently, she performed original work on the violin by Michel Cusson in a multi-media show entitled "Waikiki Nei" and currently records and performs with artists of various genres and bands as a violinist, electronic musician and vocalist. Presently based in New York and Montreal, she continues to write and perform in theatre, film, and music.
